Terms of service

Plain-language terms for using SaveOnSolar. No fine print games.

1. Accepting these terms

When you use SaveOnSolar, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. How the service works

SaveOnSolar connects you with selected independent installers and energy providers. You enter a few details, get a savings estimate, and may then receive quotes from different providers. The service is free and carries no obligation.

After you submit your details, we may contact you by email, SMS or phone about your request. Contact then happens directly between you and the provider, unless agreed otherwise. You can opt out at any time by emailing hello@saveonsolar.eu.

3. Acceptable use

You may not claim a connection to SaveOnSolar or our providers without written consent. You may not try to access non-public data or parts of the site, including by hacking. You may not impersonate another person or pretend to act on someone else's behalf.

If we suspect activity that breaks these rules, such as false or misleading requests, we may block the service for that user.

4. Our role and liability

SaveOnSolar only introduces users to installers. We are not involved in preparing the quotes or carrying out the work. The installers are fully independent of us, so we cannot guarantee that a quote will be sent.

Using the service is at your own risk. Any agreement you make with an installer is between you and them. We are not responsible for the performance, quality or legality of the work, for meeting deadlines, or for any loss arising from that agreement. We do work only with reputable installers, and we can remove any that do not meet our standards.

We work with selected installers to give a representative view of the market. We do not guarantee the cheapest or best price.

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property relating to SaveOnSolar, including the name, domain, trademarks and site content, belongs to SaveOnSolar. Using the service does not give you any right to use these commercially.

6. Communication

All communication about the service is electronic. You are not signed up to any newsletter unless you actively choose it.

7. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. The latest update date is shown below.

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of the provider's place of business, and disputes are settled by the competent courts there.
